Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is the lead Federal agency charged with improving the safety and quality of America's health care system. AHRQ develops the knowledge, tools, and data needed to improve the health care system and help Americans, health care professionals, and policymakers make informed health decisions.
Bureau of Economic Analysis Extensive site providing accurate and objective data about the U.S. economy. The bureau provides statistics such as U.S. gross domestic product, better known as GDP. It compiles state and local numbers, plus foreign trade and investment stats and industry data.
Bureau of Justice Statistics The bureau's mission is to collect, analyze, publish, and disseminate information on crime, criminal offenders, victims of crime, and the operation of justice systems at all levels of government.
Bureau of Labor Statistics "The Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor is the principal federal agency responsible for measuring labor market activity, working conditions, and price changes in the economy. Its mission is to collect, analyze, and disseminate essential economic information."

National Center for Education Statistics The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education in the U.S. and other nations. NCES is located within the U.S. Department of Education and the Institute of Education Sciences. NCES fulfills a Congressional mandate to collect, collate, analyze, and report complete statistics on the condition of American education; conduct and publish reports; and review and report on education activities internationally.
National Center for Health Statistics Official website of the nation's health statistics agency. It collects data from birth and death records, medical records, interview surveys, and through direct physical exams and laboratory testing.
